Nurse’s

Corner

Dear TECCS Community,

There has been another big development in the battle to end the COVID-19 pandemic. The pediatric dose of the COVID vaccination is officially approved. The CDC now recommends the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children ages 5-11. I have begun to gather information regarding which pharmacies and other sites will be offering this vaccine to our younger children. There are many options!

Both Walgreens and CVS are accepting appointments:

Walgreens COVID Vaccination Appointments for ages 5 and older
CVS COVID Vaccine Appointments for ages 5 and older
